Connection. It's the primary reason you need a designer. To strengthen the connection between you or your company and a potential customer, audience or market place. The success of that happening depends on the designer(s) making a connection with you.
Our process begins by listening to what you want, asking questions and making sure your ‘ground' criteria is understood. It's also the time for us to offer some opener ideas, explain options and explore directions that might improve on your objectives. Among the abstract thoughts that are outlined at this stage, ground criteria also covers very concrete items like budget and early timelines.
Just as important as the design is the ability to manage the production of work through delivery. We can find ways to fit your budget and save you money by gathering quotes from a range of printers or vendors.

Design
There can be many design stages to any given project. Once a project is started we try to present an accurate project schedule and if necessary estimates and outside costs.
For large-scale projects, more detailed documentation and activities can be used to inform and present the design stages. These include branding workshops, usability testing, creative briefs and technical documentation.
From all this gathered information, finally, designs begin to stem often simple at this point with pencil and paper, sketches and notes. But it's in the details that the work begins to take shape; aesthetics, layout ideas and visual elements, photography direction, typographic choices, color schemes, paper brands, etc.
The creative process is not a scientific one and successful solutions are not usually derived in first drafts. Most projects require design stages where an agreed number of designs are presented and further stages refine the design.
Production, Press-Checks, Quality Control and Schedules
Once a piece is in production we are there for the follow-up steps to make sure that when it's done it looks like what you were expecting and that its delivered on time.
What Our Clients Say:
Martin Cimek Design exemplifies the highest qualities in a design firm. With an intrinsic sense of creativity and dead-on instinct, their commitments are met and most often exceeded with an edgy, targeted concept. Martin himself has an exceptional talent for educating his clients about the intricacies of the design process and how objectives can be met in the most complete, on time, and simplest ways. Working with Martin Cimek Design is a relief.

Global Sourcing Etc., Inc. hired Martin Cimek to develop our logo, business card design, brochure and website. Our company was just getting off the ground and we wanted to choose a look that would take us through many years of business. Martin met with us and we told him our vision and talked about our expectations. He was able to tell us what to expect from a cost and time standpoint and discussed what works and what does not. The result was a logo and a website that we are proud to have clients and prospects visit. He worked with us to choose additional graphics and word the brochure and website to get the maximum benefit. We get positive remarks from everyone that visits. We are thrilled with the results.
