TIME TO RUMBLE! North Lincoln Avenue in front of Delilah's bar will be lined up again with Lambrettas and Triumphs, BSAs and Vespas and leather and loafers but not for fighting. Entrants of this vintage motorcycle show hosted by the Ton-Up Club Chicago are only competing for trophies.
For the second year in a row MCD has designed the Mods vs Rockers silk screened posters and promotional materials. Inspired by Italian film noir posters, the second design challenges the combination of style rivalry and mutual passion for the machine.
For 2006 design had to be 'street worthy'. Even though only a limited edition of 50 were printed on French paper for show entrants, 100+ were printed on orange paper for the sole purpose of street advertisement.
Other promotional items include a t-shirt design, patches, newspaper ads and 4-color handbills.
